First Snowmen of Winter!

Children in the Afternoon Garden Program were thrilled with their play yard's new winter landscape. Building muddy snowmen takes team work indeed!

Fort Building

Students in the Fort Building in the Woods after school enrichment program learned how to build sturdy structures that would protect you from the elements. Wilderness Adventurer, John Hunt, and alumni Julia Martin led the group.  Impressed with how easily they got along and how steadfastly they worked, these 2nd, 3rd, and 4th graders both in and out of our school proudly showed their huts when parents came to pick them up.

Snowy Hill

Students of all ages have fully enjoyed the snow that fell so thickly on our school this past week,  from the early childhood, where a snow reindeer was built....

...(just look at those antlers!)...

... to upper graders exploring "modified gravity" on the hill off the parking lot.  They just love to challenge themselves on that slope.
